The month of May has been fun with a fair amount of work on the boat and completing logistics to be away for 3 or 4 months.
Getting used to a different schedule, or no schedule, takes a little time.
Someone said that now we can stay up late and sleep in as long as we want. But one of the ironies of life is that once you get to the point where you don't need to have a schedule you are tired at 10:00 and wide awake at 6:00 AM. Cruising encourages that schedule. At 6:00 or 7:00 AM we're ready to lift the anchor and go.
So the vacation hasn't started. Yet.
